Take two trees and tight a band between them – ready is the slackline. Now the challenge is to balance on it. Original from the climbing-scene in the Yosemite-Nationalpark at the end of the 1970’s, the slackline gets more and more popular. After trying to stay on the slackline the first time, you will learn quickly which attraction this sport provides.
The balance we are used to, and on which we relay every second on earth, will not be there and our body will not move as we want him to move. But our brain will learn quickly, and while it is getting used to this new activity, we will learn a lot about us, about the centre of our body, about calmness, self-control and concentration.
When the first steps were made, you will have the basic ability to walk and stand on the line. “Balance” will get a totally new definition for you and you do not want to leave the line anymore.
In our workshop, we will do the first steps together and we will notice quickly that we are very adaptive. The first successes will appear and who knows… maybe you can walk all alone on the 35mm wide band at the end of the day.
Slacklining is not depending on age, so that everyone with a normal condition can learn it. Even for children it is ideal to assist them in their physically and mentally growth.
