Only the foundation walls tell the story of this town. The site of Nautanen is located in the middle of the forest and only 9 km away from Koskullskulle. From 1900 until 1907 lived and worked here about 400 people in a small but surprisingly modern mining town.
Today the walls and the old galleries remind of the short and little successful story of a firstly promising mine settlement.
Together, we will discover this place where are many things to tell and to develop.
By bicycle we will get to Nautanen, where we will explore this part of history together. During a coffee break on a campfire in the town, we will have time enough to listen to all the interesting stories that are entwining around this place and his environment.
